Volunteerism, Dedication, Integrity & Leadership

Old Dominion Cotillion’s philanthropic mission is to provide experiences that encourage social awareness and compassion for the needs of our community.  It is through volunteerism and acts of kindness that the character of each young lady in the program is realized and developed. By definition, philanthropy is the desire to promote the welfare of others, expressed by the generous donation of time and or money to good causes.  

ODC has worked with various charities across our area including the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, D.C., Wreaths Across America and various other worthy organizations. Members volunteer throughout the year at ODC organized events and also contribute hours of service to charitable organizations with personal meaning. 

We continue our tradition of collecting children’s books for the Reach Out and Read program. Books are collected at the annual Holiday Tea and presented to the INOVA Fairfax Hospital Children’s Clinic.
